[THIS POST WILL CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS PERTAINING TO THE FIRST FIVE SEASONS OF BLACK MIRROR. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.]

I love Black Mirror. The show offers riveting takes on the ever-increasing role of technology in today’s age. I believe it’s our generation’s version of The Twilight Zone, more or less.

Because of that, I’ve found that Black Mirror is also one of the most talked about shows out there. It’s just incredibly fun to discuss and debate.

Which episodes are good? Which are bad?

There’s truly nothing scientific about ranking these Black Mirror episodes. Everyone is going to have a different view — it’s totally subjective stuff.

But, anyway, here’s my two cents in ranking form…

(23) The Entire History of You — S1E3

The Good: This episode proposes an inherently interesting world, where everything you see or experience can be saved and watched back at any time.

The Bad: A relatively slow episode of BM with little payoff at the end; The main characters are fairly dull; The ending, if nothing else, is just incredibly unsatisfying — there are other BM episodes that take a similar idea of total recall, but simply do it…
